Our hand-crafted mantels, designed to recreate the warmth of an earlier time, are faithful to the styles enjoyed during historic periods. Each piece is suitable for restoring or furnishing a house constructed during the mid-eighteenth century to the early nineteenth century, and is equally successful in adding historic ambiance to a new home.

Your mantel will be individually made by following a combination of current and traditional methods of handwork, such as reproducing period moldings by using antique wooden hand planes. This special attention to your mantel assures that the dimensions of each mantel listed in our catalogue can be customized to assure that the size and proportions of your mantel fully compliment your home.

We can also work with you to design and produce a distinctive mantel or piece of furniture, incorporating your own creative ideas and personal requirements, which you will enjoy for many years.

All mantels are constructed of hardwood and finished with a primer suitable for latex as well as oil base paints. Other wood species, including cherry, mahogany, and walnut, are available and are priced upon request.
